Every Dog Has It’s Day

All were invited to attend a doggy coffee morning where we shared the objectives of Dignified Departures. Anna was also on hand to provide veterinary inspections and tips to pets whilst their custodians indulged in the coffee and specially themed cakes for the occasion.

Proceeds of the day were raised for Dignified Departures’ chosen human-animal bond charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

It’s a Dog’s Life

Walkies!  A beautiful day was had by families and their pooches as we embarked on a group doggy walk round the breathtaking Hengistbury Head. Awareness shared with passers by and monies raised to join in with the fun for our chosen charity.

Friends of Douglas

100 guests attended the Dignified Departures Awareness and Fund Raising black tie doo.   Objectives shared, monies raised, dancing until the wee hours – perfect evening.

We can’t wait until the next one!

London Vet Show

We were absolutely delighted to be invited to join the IAAHPC stand at the London Vet Show.  Our Mission… to engage with vets sharing the sentiments of Dignified Departures.

Meet Alan!

This is the moment that we met Alan the Hearing puppy that Dignified Departures had raised funds for.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People are supporters of Dignified Departures endeavours and arranged a welcome reception to thank the Dignified Departures team and ‘our’ supporters for championing this fantastic charity, a charity that epitomises the strength of the human-animal bond.

Sky News – Morning Stories

To coincide with ‘Dying Matters Week’ Karen wrote a piece about compassion for those experiencing pet grief. (You can watch it here…)

Way to go Waitrose!

Waitrose and its customers came up trumps by supporting us as a local community project.  For one month, shoppers popped their little green token into our box and hey presto, monies were raised in order to help us promote the Dignified Departures Mission and objectives.
